Q: Why do some articles and links on the Kansas City Business Journal website have a subscription paywall?

The Kansas City Business Journal provides libraries access to most, but not all, of its bizjournals.com website. It's available from any of our Library locations and remotely with your Library card.

Recommendations

When visiting the Kansas City Business Journal website through our Library, try these sections:

  • Your News on the homepage for Digital Editions of the weekly newspaper and annual Book of Lists
  • Latest News from the top menu for the latest web articles
  • Subscriber-Only Content from the footer for Digital Editions and web articles

If you encounter an issue

If the Kansas City Business Journal website site asks you to pay for a subscription or presents any other issue:

  1. Go back to the Library's webpage to access KCBJ again.
  2. Try locating the article or content you wanted from the recommended sections above.
  3. If it continues to deny access, contact us with details about which part of the KCBJ site you were trying to access and the steps you took that led up to the issue.
