Q: Why does Udemy say my password is incorrect for my eCard number?

Currently Udemy, presented by Gale, is only available to traditional Library card holders. We are investigating solutions that will allow eCard holders to access this resource as well. In the meantime, we invite you to visit us and transition from an eCard to a traditional card, which provides access to our whole collection including Udemy. Learn how to get started »

If you have a traditional Library card and get the error, "Incorrect password entered. Please re-try," when attempting to sign in for Udemy, please contact us to assist you further.

Udemy has been in the consumer market since 2010 but is new to libraries. They have partnered with Gale, a well-respected library content provider, to adapt their product to meet library needs. This is a work in progress. Throughout 2020, Gale and Udemy are fine-tuning their systems based on feedback from library users, and the Library is providing access to this product now for our patrons who would like to explore Udemy content immediately and shape its future in libraries.
