Q: I have trouble reading your eNewspapers on my tablet or phone. Can you help?

Yes, we have noticed some of our eNewspapers work better than others on Kindle devices. Here's what you need to know about the various titles.

Wall Street Journal - this is a text-based newspaper, so it should not have any problems being read on your Kindle.

Kansas City Star (Image Edition) - this uses a plugin to display the images, which is not supported by mobile browsers. This version is best read on a computer.

*As an Alternative, try using our Kansas City and Regional Newspapers resource instead, and select Kansas City Star, The (MO) as the publication (there’s a shortcut on the left). This will be a text only based version that can be read on your Kindle.

New York Times -  Log in through our website to get a daily pass, and continue to the mobile-friendly site (mobile.nytimes.com) to log in with a personal NYTimes account.

*Alternatively, there is a NYTimes app in the Amazon store. To use it in conjunction with the Library’s subscription, first get the daily pass through our website, then open app and login with a personal NYTimes account.

*NYTimes has a few Kindle FAQs that may help.
