Q: What programs are on your public computers?

The Library provides a basic set of software programs (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher; web browsers including Firefox, Chrome, and Internet Explorer; and VLC media player) on all public computers.

Laptops are available for cardholders to checkout and use at our Central Resource and Lenexa City Center branches. They have the same software programs as our public computers; additionally, they offer webcam access. Note: you need headphones to access the sound.

For software pertaining to various creative pursuits, check out the Black & Veatch MakerSpace at the Central Resource Library. To guarantee time using computers, equipment or the studio, make a reservation online.

The Monticello branch also has two iMac computers. These computers have basic software programs installed as well as Adobe Acrobat DC, Adobe After Effects 2020, Adobe Animate 2021, Adobe Audition 2020, Adobe Bridge 2021, Adobe Character Animator 2020, Adobe Dreamweaver 2021, Adobe Illustrator 2021, Adobe InCopy 2021, Adobe InDesign 2021, Adobe Lightroom Classic, Adobe Photoshop 2021, Adobe Prelude 2020, and Adobe Premiere Pro 2020.
