Yes, you may return your library materials to any Johnson County Library or Olathe Public Library location. Olathe Public Library also offers community return boxes in some locations, in addition to their library locations. Please visit their website for locations and directions.

Materials returned to libraries outside of the Johnson County Library or Olathe Public Library locations (such as Kansas City Public Library, North Kansas City, Kansas City Kansas Public Library, university libraries, or others) are typically sent back to us at the convenience of the library where it has been returned. Materials are not considered returned until they physically reach either a Johnson County Library location or an Olathe Public Library location.  Late fees may be incurred. Please know that you are responsible for all materials checked out on your library card, until they are returned to a proper location.
