The Main location has study rooms that seat up to 6 people and an auditorium space that can hold about 40, and can only be used by non-profits.
The West Wyandotte location has an auditorium that holds ~150, a large meeting room that holds 20, and a small room that can hold 8.

Kansas City (Missouri) Public Library
KCPL has many branches with meeting rooms. Business can also use them, for a fee. Non-profits w/ certification are free, non-profits w/o certification have a small fee. Check website for locations, policies and capacities.
KCPL also offers Special Events spaces, that can be used for a variety of uses, including weddings, receptions, private parties, meetings, etc. Check the website for pricing, capacities, policies and equipment. To rent the Lenexa Community Center, you must do so in person at:
- Lenexa Rec Center, 17201 W. 87th St. Pkwy. Hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Rental reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis one year in advance on the first business day of each month. If your event date is less than two weeks away, please contact customer service at 913-477-7100 or parksandrec@lenexa.com and allow two business days to confirm availability.
You can rent one or all of our three available rooms and full kitchen for your event. The kitchen is only available when you rent the Multipurpose Room.
- Multipurpose Room - 8,736 square feet, accommodates up to 400 people
- AB Room - 1,404 square feet, accommodates up to 90 people
- C Room - 520 square feet, accommodates up to 25 people

The room offers three set-ups: Boardroom - holds 24, Classroom - holds 32, Theater - holds 45. The fee is $40/hr during regular office hours; Mon-Fri 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
After hours and weekends, the fee is $60/hr. Users must call during regular hours to make an appointment. The staff also stated that it is generally for a business-type meeting - they do not accept reunions, parties, or similar types of uses.
