Q: How will I be notified about my interlibrary loan request?

  • You will be notified by e-mail when your item arrives and is ready to be picked up at the Johnson County Library location of your choice. It will be held for seven days from the date of the notice.
  • Your item will be available on the hold shelf under the first four letters of your last name and the first letter of your first name.
  • Photocopies will be delivered electronically or mailed to your postal address.
  • You will be notified by e-mail if the request is canceled or cannot be filled after a thorough search.
  • If you do not have an email on file, please contact us to add one. If you do not want to do that, you can check your Interlibrary Loan account periodically.
