Answer

We appreciate your interest in using our libraries as a backdrop for your photos!  While we do not have a specific policy regarding photos in the library, at a minimum we do ask:

  • To protect patron privacy, please ensure no patrons are in the photos.
  • Be considerate of all nearby patrons and avoid any disruptive behaviors or equipment.
  • Contact the manager of the specific library location(s) you plan to visit in advance for approval and any additional restrictions and considerations.
  • Let staff know when you arrive to take photos so that they are aware you have permission.

If you are with the media, please contact our Community Relations Coordinator or a member of our Promotions staff for more information about sheduling, interviews, signed photo releases, etc.

You will be asked to leave if you do not comply with the above and any agreement arranged with the branch manager.
