The last time I visited the Central Resource Library there was a group outside the building handing out religious tracts. What's up with that?
That's a good question. Each Johnson County Library location allows petitioners to stand outside library buildings on library property in areas designated by staff to petition and distribute their literature. Petitioners must remain away from entrances, must not impede traffic, and cannot pursue patrons. Any group, regardless of affiliation has the right to petition in this public forum space as long as they adhere to the guidelines.
