Answer

Johnson County Library makes every attempt to notify patrons of fines or fees and overdue materials, but you are responsible for your own account and those of minors for whom you signed a Responsibility Agreement.  Remember:

  • Fines are 30 cents per day with a maximum fine of $6 per item.
  • Check your account frequently online or call us at (913) 826-4600 for due dates
  • The Library employs Unique National Collections to recover overdue fines, fees and materials.  This is not a collections agency.

Fines can be paid online or in person at any Library location. We accept payment by cash, check, VISA, Mastercard or Discover.

To keep this from happening, remember to monitor Your Account online!
